The City of Missouri City operates a drop-off recycling center for its residents. Recyclable products taken at the Center are: newspaper, aluminum cans, plastics and bi metal cans.
The recycling center is open twenty-four (24) hours per day on a walk-in, help yourself basis.
The recycling center does not allow tree limbs, brush, household appliances, yard wastes or other items such as this. These items must be taken to the BFI landfill.
Curb side recycling services are available in Missouri City but are supplied by the contractors currently providing solid waste pickup to each individual subdivision.
